Navigation in NCL Accounting
Welcome to NCL Accounting. This guide will help you to familiarize yourself with the application so that you can start managing your business right away. And we promise, it won't take much of your time.
So, shall we begin now?
When you sign in to the application, you will be directed straight to the Homepage. The Homepage displays list of available modules under each category as shown below:
You may find the modules such as Sales Invoices, Delivery Order and Cash Payment under these categories.
|AR (Account Receivable)||Display all the available module options and reports related to Customers.|
|AP (Account Payable)||Display all the available module options and reports related to Suppliers.|
|Sales||Display all the available module options and reports related to Customers. The different between AR and Sales is Sales transaction is linked with Inventory items whereas AR transaction is linked to COA.|
|Purchases||Display all the available module options and reports related to Suppliers. The different between AP and Purchases is Purchases transaction is linked with Inventory items whereas AP transaction is linked to COA.|
|Cash||Display all the available module options and reports related to Cash/Bank.|
|Inventory||Display all the available module options and reports related to Stock Items.|
|G.Ledger||Display all the available module options and reports (GST reports and Financial reports) related to COA.|
|Settings||Display all the available master setup module options.|
Here at NCL Accounting, we strive to provide you with a better experience in managing and handling your businesses. Therefore, we try to take the stress out by ensuring our accounting system as simple and hassle-free as possible.
Navigating within the application is really easy and we are sure it won't take long for you to master it.
To navigate between the modules, you may click on the categories and a drop-down menu will appear. Click on the module that you wish to work on and you will be directed to the Listing page.
Listing page is usually the first page that you will see when you open a module. It shows a listing of your previous created records in the current module as shown below:
In the Listing page, you are able to edit, delete, print and export the records created.
Do you notice the the icon located on the top-right corner of your screen? Clicking on it will lead you to an Entry page where you can create new record.
In NCL Accounting, all modules navigation are standard and easy to comprehend even if you have never used any applications beforehand.
When you are going through each module in the NCL Accounting, you may have notice a number of buttons located at the top-right corner of your screen. And trust us, they are there to make your life so much easier.
You may refer to the below table for more details:
|Duplicate||This button helps minimize data entry by allowing you to duplicate the same record. It may be useful in the case that you have to enter the list of items for your quotation.|
|To print out your records, you may click on this button. This will open the file in .pdf format.|
|Print Cheque||If your payment mode is cheque, you can use this function to directly print your refunds, suppliers' payment onto your cheque stock.|
|Export||You may export you records in the system by clicking on this button. The file will be downloaded in excel format.|
|Related Docs||Clicking on the button allows you to view list of created documents pertaining to the record. This way you can easily track the document numbers for the records.|
|Void||Voiding a document cancels all outstanding activities. Invoices amount and ledger postings will become zero. The document won't be deleted and can still be viewed in the system.|
|Cancel||You may use this button to cancel a document such as Sales Quotation, Purchase Order etc. The document won't be deleted and can still be viewed in the system.|
|Save||Note that, for security purpose, the application will automatically log out after 30 minutes of inactivity. So, always remember to save your progress.|
|Delete||You can delete the record created by clicking on this button.|
The Advanced Search feature allows you to search your previous created records thoroughly. You can apply various criteria to filter your records such as Currency, Tag, Remark and Salesperson.
This feature is available in most of the modules in NCL Accounting's Listing page.
To use the Advanced Search feature, simply check the box next to it and then, select your desired criteria from the Field(s) and Value(s) drop-down list. Click Retrieve once you are done.
